Year of the Dragon - that's me!

People are sometimes surprised that I acknowledge the Lunar New Year... until I tell them that I used to live in Vancouver, where it's a really big celebration! This year, I added my own little piece to the common room at my part time position, creating a poster that included the graph from this website for the students to look up what animal they are on the Chinese Zodiac: https://chinesenewyear.net/zodiac/

Personally, I'm a Dragon. Traits common amongst us Dragons are:

• powerful

• energetic and full of vitality

• goal-oriented

• idealistic

• visionary leader

2024 is the Year of the Dragon so it's MY year! Interestingly, I just read that when it's a person's year, they actually aren't supposed to have a good year... and yet I'm going into this Year of the Dragon with lots of excitement, optimism, and hope, so we'll see how the year progresses. Lol!
